ANDREA BOCELLI is one of most famous italian singer, now. Thanks to Caterina Caselli he becomes in few time very famous in Italy and than in all the World. He debuts together Zucchero (video n. 3 of this playlist). Zucchero played a song togheter Pavarotti, but, when he starts his concerts of course Pavarotti didn't come and Bocelli has choosen from Caterina Caselli and Zucchero to play this song: "Miserere". I remember very well, when I gone to Zucchero's concert that year ('93) and when Andrea Bocelli started to sing all pubblic exited: someone sings as Pavarotti.. or better than Pavarotti..!! Bocelli now, is the most important interpreter of traditional italian music ; I don't think that he is the best; there are others italian tenors, but he is as ambasciator of Italian's style, Italian culture and principally of Italian traditional melody. Verdi, Puccini, was been very importants for all lyric music and now, Bocelli ;( just from Pavarotti stops to sing), is the "star" of this tradition.
