Sometimes gossip enlarge the love stories, but between Albano Carrisi and Romina Power has been a 'true', - with tragic final - incredible, love story. He borns (1943) in a farmer's family from Puglia (Apulia) and She borns in L.A. (1951); She's Tiron Power's daughter, a famous Hollywood's Star and Linda Christian, another actress. She comes in Italy in '60's where (She is very beautiful) starts to make films as actress. Albano is only 11 years old when writes his first song and leaves Puglia to Milan with the hope to became a professional singer. He works has handmaker, a day Celentano knows him and help to that "good voice" with big extension to play any discos: succes comes in '67 with "Il sole" and with that success his productor makes a film . As in Hollywood in '50's and '60's the singer that has been very success with a song plays also a film dedicated to that song. In that film meets Romina. 3 years later They married. Albano e Romina is a new group and success is big, more and more times, in Italy, Europe and in all the World. Their songs are about the easy style-life and love and success as "Felicità" are knows in all the World. They has 4 kids. The first one in '70, a female called Ylenia. They works around all the world and Ylenia starts to drugs and makes long travels. Is 1994 january, 6: She vanished: a man see to her goes into the river: She was in New Orleans where went to do another travel, alone. The tragedy is very big for all the family and Albano and Romina separed after few time. The disappear is very misterious for mass-media: but there is nothig of misteriouse: Carrisi's family doesn't admit ( Albano saids that things only 12 years later) the problems about Ylenia and press made some stupid stories only to sell more copies. A song talk about the Albano's tragedy is "E' la mia vita", one of most beautiful song writes from Albano. in the last years Romina closed in silence, now she lives in U.S. and she paints. Albano is always in the gossip: he married "Lecciso" a woman that seams stays with him only to have some articles. He has a very big and important Wine Trade mark: "Tenute Albano Carrisi" with 350.000 bottles produced in a year...

this article has lots of interesting facts about Albano and Romina.It would have been better though, if you learnt some basic English first.

Of course you understood what the article was about. Anybody could see that. What I wanted to say was that it is not enough to write an article; some understanding of the english language is called for. There is nothing in Italian in the article; why did you write that I should learn basic Italian? For your information my Italian is not basic: I matriculated in Italian, English and French when I was 18 and even though that was some years now, I can still read wrie and understand Italian perfectly.

For 'Anonymus': I'm the author of that blog. I am 40 years old and I studied french and english languages just to 18 years old. For me, to write in english language in exatly way is not easy: if you see something wrong, please, tell me: I'll change it. PS: I read and I write in english, but I don't understand when an American citizen talks, I understand very well an english man. In Italy we studys english from Great britain, not from Us, that is the really problem, for me.

Ive just read what you wrote on january 12th. First of all I did not want to be insulting at all; what I wrote down is my opinion and my opinion only ; and that is, when one is writing something that perhaps hundreds, or even thousands of people are going to read, one should do one's utmost to write it down in good, simple English.
If you studied English from Great Britain then you did the right thing; British English and American English are very different from each other; there are so many differences in grammar, structure of sentences and so forth. English is my second language, not my first but I am pleased to say that I can hold my own with any english speaker, be he/she a native speaker or not.
If you want to, I will try and arrange your article in somewhat better presented English ; I'll be happy to do so.

I was stationed at San Vito dei Normanni Air Station from 1979 to 1982. I met Romina and Albano through an Air Force buddy who was renting an apartment at their estate. I found both Romina and Albano to be truly very nice,down to earth people.
I was in Angola when I first listened to them , I was 11 years old and still today , at the age of 49, I still think that they were and are the best team ever.
The article tells an interesting story in a most poignant (kind) manner. I have just learned of Al Bano and Romina through my efforts to learn the Italian language. Let's remember that it is the story that is important. Small differences about language are just the little details of life that, if we work together, we can get through. Regarding Al Bano and Romina- I sure do wish they could find peace. They made beautiful music together.
