MIA MARTINI is the art's name of Mimì Bertè', considered, after Mina , the best Italian Interpreter; borns in Calabria, in 1947, comes with her family to North Italy, in Milan and then, in Rome. In '60s Rome was the perfect place for an artist: the sound comes from U.K. and U.S. starts to change the old Italian melodic music. Only in 1971, she pubblish the first album, after that one critic's success and again and again, but her depression's problems, Her Lovers, discographic lawsuit, doesn't helps her and she returns to have success for 2-3 years and to vanish for the others years.
