IN-GRID - Emiliana Alberini - borns in '78, she was named after the big film star Ingrid Bergman. Her parents ran a cinema ( still now, in Guastalla - Emilia Romagna) and In-Grid grew-up watching movies wich she says were a major infuence on her decision to become a singer.
She started painting, acting and singing, soon to discover that for her music was the most poweful form of expression.
She began singer locally in her native northern italy and soon got a reputation for her great stage presence and the enrgy and coulour of her voice.
The internationaly record producer Larry Pignaroli and Marco Soncini, invited her to sing on a couple of ideas they were working on in the studio.
She laid down the vocals of "Tu es foutu " in one go, and the song come to life.
'Tu es foutu', in 2003, has been an international success of disco-music; in the 1st place of selling in many Countries of Europe, but also in Russia, South America, Italy and, in America with an english version 'You promised me'.
The caratherist of In-Grid' music is a dance-music with use of Accordion that transforme the 'disco' in 'world music', 'gitanes', with some of tango, and very ''ritmated' dance music.
In-Grid isn't famouse in Italy ( I think she was francaise) , but She has fans in East Countries as Polland and Russia, but also in France and in America.
I can only said her voice is very beautiful, sensual, 'full' and sexy, a very 'female voice'.

CORTELLESI PAOLA: ACTRESS, AUTHOR AND SINGER
Cortellesi Paola, borns in Rome on '73 , She is another italian actress unknows out of Italy, also she's talking a fluent english language.
Paola Cortellesi is actress, author and singer. Starts in the theatre in 1995, continuing to play with his theatre company, preferring the contemporary prose. After various experiences on radio, comes to television and will be precisely thanks to the satirical programme "Mai dire goal" (Never say goals) with the "Jalappa ' s Band", program where Paola is author of its texts that will takes to her a great popularity. PS: Cortellesi Paola consider herself as actress, but many peoples and criticisms consider her more singer than actress, also if she is a very good actress ( humor and drammatic); very interesting author ( the most part of singers and theatral text made by herself) and a singer with a very good female voice; owever, she doesn't consider herself as singer, and to find 'normal songs' sung by Paola is very rare thing. She sings only 'humor songs' as the songs you can see in the 13 video above.
Only now I found the first song Paola sung "Cacao meravigliao" an humor song) when she was only 13 years old; the song was the initial of a very lucky Italian Tv show: 'Indietro tutta' (song n. 13 of video-playlist), with Renzo Arbore.

PETRA MAGONI AND SPINETTI: PURE TALENT
PETRA MAGONI has a girl with a great voice and big music culture.
Borns in Siena - Tuscany - on '72 starts to sing in a 'voci bianche' (boy soprano) chorus (as me) when she was only a little girl ( 8-9 years old); she enter in Livorno's musical Conservatory after many years, where studies old music and sacre music.
Over the years has participated in seminars on improvisation, harmonious hand, difonic and voice ensemble. Working in the context of the ancient and Opera music with the Pisa Verdi theatre company.
In '95 Petra Magoni starts to sing rock music, with a group of his town, Siena.
But I think she must thanks his husband, Stefano Bollani and his last great success; that one permits to Petra Magoni to know in italian music market, where for every singer, as if is good is difficult to play in front of many peoples...
However, when I start to write that post, I didn't know of that marriage and now, I'm still convinced Petra is a great vocal talent.
We must said Petra's carreer changes when meet Ferruccio Spinetti: a double bass player and an Italian composer.
Ferruccio Spinetti graduated from bass in 1994 with the maximum of votes and praise. Between 1989 and 1991, participates seminars music jazz in Siena, and becomes part of the Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel.
Between Petra Magoni and Ferruccio Spinetti - they knows before becomes a 'duo'- borns a sort of musical alchemy, and They starts to play music only with the bass of Ferruccio and the voice of Petra.
What borns from these two musicians is very rare: jazz, classic, pop, a music They call 'nude', "Musica nuda" is the name of show that they makes just two years (France, Spain, Italy ) and you can hear in the video playlist I add to that article: extraordinary and very difficult only to describe it. The 'magician' of their music is the various kind of genres they can plays and improvise on its ( and very difficult to describe) .. but I'd like You can hear with your ears.
